Tahoe Rim Ride 50
July 30, 2022

>Click Here for Entry, and Ride Rules and Information<

This is the 10th anniversary of the Tahoe Rim Ride.

Due to the confusion of when the entry was made publically available, all entries that are POST MARKED DECEMBER 1ST OR BEFORE will be on our ride list. If we have more than 18 rigs, and we will, all entries will go into a raffle. The lucky winners of the raffle will be announced here and on our NASTR website, nastr.org, by the end of January.

Just like in prior years, an entry for the Tahoe Rim Ride is for a rig spot, and the spots are very limited in number. Each spot requires a paid entry for a minimum of two riders (of your choice), but if you have a 3+ horse rig, you may be able to bring an additional rider(s) for an additional fee in that same rig if total rider limit has not been reached.

Due to AERC regulations, we can no longer use the lottery system for entries, so it is now first-come, first-served. Ride entry forms are available above, on the AERC.org website, and the NASTR Tahoe Rim Ride facebook page.

Due to our limited space, we depend on ride-sharing to be able to continue to offer this ride. The minimum fee for a Rig Spot is $350.00 ($175.00 each for two Adult entries). If you do not have (or do not want) an additional rider in your rig, you may pay the minimum entry fee ($350 for 2 riders) and not bring a second rider with you. You must send in the $350 for the rig spot with your entry form or you will not be considered in the ride. If your Total Rig Length exceeds 45 you must get approval from management for that rig. If you are bringing 3 or more riders, length exceptions can be made, but must be approved by management.

All AERC Rules and Regulations apply. All riders must be pre-registered; we do not have registration at the ride.

We have added a new rule this year due to the difficulty of this ride. We require that the horse and rider have a minimum of 250 endurance miles. These miles do not have to be together.

Please read the additional information included in the ride rules and info before sending in your entry.
